hello don
recently all headlight quit working. they came back on briefly by forcing the ignition switch towards start, but that no longer works.  relays are good. tail lights work. turn signals only work when key is in first position. high beam indicator stays on continuously.  also noticed no gages are working.  have double checked all fuses.  any ideas?

You probably need to look at your body ground.If there is any green on the braided ground strap,it should probably be replaced.Check all your grounding points under the dash(they are the brown wires).You mentioned that the relays were good,how did you check them?
