Hi, I need your help.  My 94 BMW 704iL will not lock the car at all when the key is inserted and turned to lock it.  It will however turn on the keyless entry alarm system.  Does this mean I need a new lock actuator?  If so, how do I replace it or fit this so that all doors lock when I lock the driver side door?  Thank you!

No.  They do not.  I have to manually push them down.  Get out of the car.  Walk around to the passenger side and lock it using the key.

sounds as if the lock control module is bad..was the locks opened and closed continuously more than a couple of thimes? if so it is the module..it has an internal fuse in the module(solder)so replacement of the module is required if the lock motors don't respond.Try applying voltage to the lock motors to see if they work. If so then the module is needed
