Question
The right turn signal in my 1989 325i BMW has just started flashing way too fast. The left blinker is fine. Does this mean the right side bulb is getting ready to go?

What it means is that you probably have a bad connection at one of the left sockets.Check the ground wires on the sockets and internally it also maybe corroded


I rechecked my answer,sorry I thought I saw that it was the left side flashing.Many times if it flashes fast the bulb on the side flashing has a bad ground(an open circuit)or as you found a bad bulb.I mentioned the wiring as I thought you had checked the bulbs first
