Question
I have 2003 X5 3.0, Sorry I don't have the vin #.
My question is do you have to replace the rotors with the brake pads? Also should I do the rear brakes at the same time as the front or is there a wear differential from front to back. THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME, Scott Hata

Answer
You dont have to replace the rotors when you replace the beake pads unless they are undersize.Measure them, If you don't have a  set of calipers to measure and  there is a large ridge on the it should be replaced. And yes you should inspect the rear also.
