Question
I have a 1988 325 4dr vin # WBAAE6406J8824071. I have checked the battery it is good. There are no courtesy lights, clock, and/or warning lights when you turn on the key. Is there a fuse that could be causing this problem? I pulled out a 30a fuse for the a/c blower and put it back in.  When I did this it started to glow so I pulled it back out. It was running and starting just fine before this happened. All of the small fuses have checked out good. There are some bigger square fuses and a black rectangle one that I do not know how to check out.  They do not show continuity with my ohm meter. I am supposed to move across the country over Labor Day weekend and need to try to fix this ASAP.  If you can be of any assistance I will appreciate it. Thank you!

Answer
With the fuse glowing while putting in I wonder did you have the a/c on?If not I would check what other systems are in that circuit.Being an 88 I would look at the ground wires at the battery to make sure you have a good clean(not green) ground.Grab an electrical diagram it will help you trace and repair the circuit.
