Question
how do u put on the fan belt and powerstering belt on a 1989 535i,and what happens if i drive my car with out them

Answer
Not having the belt on and running the engine is not a good idea.The engine will overheat and not charge the battery.As well as the power steering not working.To find out how to install one you should check out a service manual as it will help,or have someone with some mechanical back ground install it for you.
