Question
my battery light is staying a on a bit to long has never done that. I have a 1999 BMW 328i
Having a few years on the car, I would think there are also a few miles.Have you replaced your alternator belt,the serpentine belt?The alternator may not be spinning fast enough to excite the regulator.If the belt is new and adjusted properly the brushes maybe worn in the alternator regulator assembly.Not a bad job just a couple of screws,they maybe a torx screw or phillips.
