6 weeks ago warning light for pad wear came on on checking pads noticed discs needed done as well also sensor wire was snapped in 2 about 1 week later light went out for about 3days then came back on . replaced sensor wire,dics,&pads but light wont go out.according 2 bmw it should go out straight away but obviously hasnt .tried turning key 2 position 2 for 5 mins but didnt help back sensor is ok help please

Danny, give me some info on the year and model car you are working on. Also Which axle of brakes are you working on? Front or Rear? Please check the opposite axle wear sensor to see if it has broken aswell. You are correct in waiting with the key on for 5 minutes.
