Question
i was cleaning my engine compartment the other day and ever since then the engine check light is on. i covered all electrical but maybe i was thinking i accidently got moisture in my distributor cap and and that is why the dash light is on? it idles akward as well and that is why i think the disbributor cap is the factor but just making sure? if you knew or do know?

With the engine running rough I'm sure that is why your check engine light is on.I'm not sure of the year of your car.If it is 96 or later you will need to have the light reset and check for the codes listed.If it is running rough I would check the wires and if it does have a distributer I would check the cap/rotor
