BMW Repair/clicking noise (valve noise?)

Question
My son's 2006 325i (less than 2000 miles)has developed a intermittant clicking noise from the engine area. I'm far from any sort of a mechanic but it sounds like the lifters/valves). Doesn't appear to have any negative impact on starting or accelation-just annoying. Dealer found nothing wrong during recent visit but my son is concerned and has requested another evaluation to be performed

Answer
Being a new vehicle all the parts need to break in.You are coming up on the first oil change(I would go every 3000 miles)when you do I would use a quality oil.Again I suggest Castrol GTX and use the viscosity that is recommended by BMW in your manual.I have used the Lucas oil treatment before in engines and the transmissions(when you can service the transmission)and it works real well,it frees up lifters and helps keeping the oils system lubricated on start ups.
Being only with 2k on it time is on your side.Break it in right with good oil changes and hard driving, good luck
