BMW Repair/clutch

Question
the clutch was high and worked fine then I had to go all the way to the floor to
shift, next day some grinding when shifting (pedal to the floor and double
clutching). Next day- won't shift with engine running.  Seems to go into all gears
with engine off.

Answer
Check your brake fluid reservoir its probably low.Which means you have either a clutch master cylinder leaking or the clutch slave cylinder. The master can sometimes be seen inside on the floor as the carpet might be wet.The slave cylinder is on the transmission so you'll have to get under it to see if it is leaking
