BMW Repair/Car unlocking itself and windows opening

I have had the same happen on both a BMW mini and a new 318d Tourer. I just read the answer above and have now worked out that the reason was holding the unlock button on the fob for more than a second or so by accident.. all the windows opened. In my case I had unlocked the car and left the key for my wife who then held it and must have depressed the unlock button again as she held it. So - Blame the wife!! :-)
