BMW Repair/musky odor and leather repairs

Question
Don-

I have 2 questions for you...both related to my 1991 750il.  First qestion, what can I do to get rid of the musky smell inside the car?  Is it natural because the car is older or because the leather seats are worned out?  Which brings me to my next qestion, how can I repair the leather seats without going to the dealer to get ripped off?  The seats are heated and have no holes or rips in them, however, they are worned and cracked from daily use and the hot/cold temp. change in winter season(I live in Iowa) and heated seats.  Please help.  Thanks.

Kim

Answer
You need to have all the body drains checked and make sure there isn't ant holes in the body.Having the seat done either way will be costly. To eliminate the cracked leather is a hard task.Keeping the leather clean and lubricated with a leather conditioner is best.
