Question
I have a 2000 740il.  I notice sometimes when I turn the steering wheel, I hear a noise.  It's kind of like a low whine

Answer
The power steering is making he noise, the fluid maybe low.Check the reservoir and lines for leaks.If you are driving down the road and you gently turn the wheel and the noise happens,but when you turn back its quiet again you may have a wheel bearing going bad.Let me know
