Question
I had the oil changed on my 1985 bmw 535i, but not at a dealer.  How do I reset the green/red leds to start over  

Answer
Get yourself a piece of wire long enough to reach the diagnostic connecter and  ground.Ground pin #7.hold the wire on ground and the lights will reset.If the lights have been on for awhile it may take a couple of trys.If the lights won't reset you may need to get new batteries for the service indicater.They can be purchased through Bavarian Autosport 1-800-535-2002
