Question
Hi,
I have a E36 320i 93mdl sedan vin WBACB22040FA12570. The problem is the engine is running realy rough and after some investigation i have found that there is no spark at coil ton first and last coil (1&6). When i swapped the coils with those on other cylinders there was still no spark and the engine ran even rougher. Is the CPS stuffed or the 2 coils stuffed or both. Also the exhast was almost glowing is was that hot. Any help would be greatly appricated. Adam.

Answer
You for sure have a cylinder misfiring that is why you have a glowing exhaust. It is caused by unburned fuel, the misfire that you have.Buying a Bently manual will help with measuring the coils and other operating systems of the car is highly recommended
