Subject: fitting brakes

Question
I've just got my first haro bmx and im having problems fitting the brakes on them. the bike came with no instructions and im very much confused, any help?

Answer
Ok do you know what type of brakes they have? I can't do much without knowing what they look like. As a basis there will be a bolt that goes into the cantilever that holds it to the brake boss, you need to do those up tight enough so that they still move freely. As to how to fit the cable it is pretty dificult to tell you how to do this as there are many ways of fitment. You are probably best going to where you got it or your nearest bike shop to get them fitted.
