Babylon 5/Shadows

Question
Yes,So you're saying that all shadow ships are controlled from a central point. But that still leaves the matter of the Shadow Ships at the final battle"Into the Fire".If there were no shadows aboard, they would hardly send their vessels beyond the rim with no crew, would they? Who projected the image that negotiated with Sheridan and Ivanova?

Answer
The Shadow ships at the Battle of Coriana likely went to Z'ha'dum where the shadows piled into the compartments in the ship and then went to the rim.  Any CPU's are beyond help and are needed to get to the rim anyway, so they stay in the ships.  Beyond the rim the shadows need for movement isn't there or they develop alternate means of transportation, perhaps with the help of the Vorlon, who require no living CPU.

Sheridan was talking with (probably) the "captain" of the vorlon flagship.  Dellen was talking with The Eye.  The new Eye, (most likely located on the island of Selini) since the one on Z'ha'dum had been destroyed.

Expertise

I have extensive knowledge in the area of the central five seasons, and I am also proficent in all other canon materials (save the 'Legend of the Rangers' pilot/made-for-tv-movie).

Experience

I have seen the 'Babylon 5 Experience' (the pilot, all 5 seasons, the made-for-tv-movies, Crusade, and The Lost Tales [discounting 'LotR', as above]) so many times I have lost count, though I may be in double digits. I have read all three book trilogies (Psi-Corps, Technomage, Centauri) multiple times, the novel "The Shadow Within" and the novel 'To Dream in the City of Sorrows' twice. I have read the first of the three comic-book storylines multiple times, as well as "In Valen's Name". When I was a kid I had The Lurker's Guide & Voltayre's Encyclopedia Xenobiologica websites printed out and put in large binders and I would read them every night.
