I have just completed the B5 marathon again and agree with Steve's order, except for one important difference:
In my opinion, THE ABSOLUTELY BEST MOMENT TO WATCH IN THE BEGINNING IS DURING SEASON III, EXACTLY BETWEEN WAR WITHOUT END PART 1 AND WAR WITHOUT END PART 2!
Technically, the movie would fit in seamlessly if you watch the teaser for WWE 2 before stopping the episode and watching ItB, then return to WWE 2.
I don't want to spoil too much so I won't explain why this is the best moment in great detail.
Just this:
- ItB is a story of the past told from somebody in the future, and it affects the present (yeah, I know, crazy!)
- WWE blends past, present and future
- a major story arc chronologically starts with ItB, has its highlight with WWE and ends during the first half of Season IV (the episode 4x09 "Atonement")
- Contrary to the opinion of some fans, I think you should watch ItB BEFORE episode 4x09, "Atonement". The story makes more sense to me.

Only following this advice I ran into one problem...
***SLIGHT SPOILER****
If you watch thirdspace in that spot you will wonder where mr garibaldi is and why he isnt in the movie. You will also wonder why frank allen is now head of security of babylon 5.
Thirdspace is self contained aside from those aspects, I see no harm in watching a few episodes past moments of transition which will explain these things to you and thirdspace will still fit into the timeline just as tidy.
