Hello Steve, ive looked all over the net for an answer and couldnt find one.

there is an episode where sheriden is being tested by the vorlons in some room on the station,being asked the questions "who are you,what are you etc' " (ingeanious questions by the way :) )  and every time sheriden answers wrong he is electrefied or something. at the end of this,the vorlons (i think its only kosh) answer that they are looking for the answers themselfs

please, what is the episode ?

the above could be referring to one of two episodes...

the first in season 2 called "comes the inquisitor" is where jack the ripper (the inquisitor) who has been preserved by the vorlons to serve them is there to question delenn, and he questions sheridan somewhat too, but i dont think this is the one you are after..

i think you are asking about "into the fire" which is episode 4 or 5 in season 4 with the climax of the shadow war, the shadows take control of delenn/debate in her mind, and the vorlons in sheridans, sheridan says hes worked out whats goign on, and they dont know themselves who they are or what they want, he convinces them to leave beyond the rim.

if its neither of those 2 then its late season 3 where kosh and sheridan argue about the vorlons getting involved right before kosh is killed by the shadows.
