Question
is paraquet laminated flooring right for badminton court?
paraquet-it comes in strip form(5'x6")interlocking at sides
with base of hitlon sheet(brands -armstrong,rosetta)

Answer
Hi,

The most important about the flooring is that it isn't slippery and hard. In my opinion parquet laminated flooring might be slippery. Maybe the best flooring is simple varnished wood boards (example http://www.sulgpall.ee/?Menu=gallery&gID=100&pID=3381, although the boards should be parallel with the sidelines of the court). Or, even better, these boards are covered with special court-sized rubber mat (example http://www.sulgpall.ee/?Menu=gallery&gID=100&pID=3376).
But, if you test the laminated flooring with your badminton footwear and it doesn't seem to be slippery, then it should be ok.

All the best,

Külle
