Has the singles serve changed recently? I was told that it had been changed to by a backhanded serve like the doubles serve. Please help clear this matter up for me. Thankyou, Theresa

No, the singles serve has not been changed recently. And ... you can serve from forehand as well as backhand in singles as well as doubles. So, if you feel more comfortable with forehand serve, you can use it also in doubles.
