QuestionQUESTION: haiii, I'm Bangladesh Muslim..living and working in Malaysian now..seen we all know that Bangladesh and Malaysians' country is Muslim country and the Muslim can't convert to other religion in this 2 country..what about the person how are found they are true love with Muslim or Baha'is..are there have to sacrifice from wish to live together and to be unity from all the differences they had..don't this have a solve on this? ( sorry, I'm not good in writing English, hope will understand and happy to answer my question) Thank you.
ANSWER: Dear Shahin,
Bahá'ís all need the approval of the parents of the woman and of the man before marriage. If both sets of parents approve of the marriage, and the woman and man are in true love as you mentioned, then there is no alternative except prayerfully to find a way to abandon the countries which restrict them from marriage. Perhaps they can take the 7-month Caregiver course and thus become qualified to apply to Canada Immigration for a work permit to work in Canada as Caregivers, and then remain in Canada.

Ross

QUESTION: Dear Ms. Ross,
How are you?
My question: What is the procedure to meet NSA and can we arrange to meet NSA for marriage problem? Can the non Baha'i meet NSA? Lastly I request, can Ms. Ross provide me Malaysian NSA e-mail address and can I'm (Non Baha'i) send request/approval e-mail to NSA for arrangement to meet NSA?
Thank you.
Regards,
Subaini
AnswerDear Subaini,
Our Bahá'í group, The Bahá'ís Under the Provisions of the Covenant, does not have an NSA in every Nation. Do both marriage partners wish to meet a Bahá'í NSA or only one partner? An NSA is a National spiritual Assembly. Perhaps you should begin with a LSA, Local Spiritual Assembly?
Are you aware that the large body of Bahá'ís is not the same group as our group, the BUPC?
If you or your marriage partner are non-Bahá'í, would you be submissive to advice from the Bahá'í Writings? I am wondering why a non-Bahá'í would seek to meet with a Bahá'í administrative body?
The e-mail for the headquarters of our group is: info@uhj.net That group is in the U.S.A. however they might give you some advice by e-mail.
Cordially,
Ross
