Bahá`í/Baha'i Question

Question
After death and separation from the body how does the soul of a Baha'i advance closer to God?

Answer
I don't think Baha'is have a particular teaching on that, except that after death, the soul enters the realm of God.  Since the Faith was derived from Islam, it, too, has a belief in life after death.  Baha'is do not believe in reincarnation.  My personal view is that after death, the person/soul continues to grow and develop toward a fuller perfection of their being.  Life began with God and returns to God.  I think instruction happens in the spirit realm.  As a matter of fact, I believe we have partaken of it even now, in the dream state.    Our best hope beyond death is trust in God, who is forever faithful.  Joel
