AboutRoss Campbell Expertise I am able to provide answers to questions about the Administration of the New World Order which the Baha`i Faith heralds; why that administration is different than any previous government in history, and why it cannot and will not fail but rather will fully accomplish all that is written in Holy Prophecy.
Experience Experience in the area: I have been examining the Baha'i Faith for more than 6 years. I have visited more than 300 different Christian churches during the past 6+ years.
Question How does your religion differ from other faiths? Please send me the basic intentions and beliefs of the religion. I look forward to hearing from you.
Answer Dear John,
You have asked how the baha'i faith differs from other Faiths.
The most significant difference is the Promise that "This is the day which will not be followed by night". All earlier religions degenerated spiritually into apostate conditions, and remain thus today. The Baha'i Faith, as promised, continually has an authorized living interpreter of our Baha'i Holy Writings.
I was once expelled from the ceremony in a Buddhist Temple which I was invited to visit, evidently because I was obeying the instructions of the founder of the Buddhist Faith. The Christian and Muslim Faiths have deteriorated into a multitude of conflicting sects, often contradictory in their interpretations and teachings.
For the duration of the Millennium, the Baha'i faith will be protected from that spiritual decline by the continual presence on Earth of a living authorized interpreter of Baha'i Holy Text and Holy Writ.
Concerning the "intentions and beliefs" of the Baha'i Faith about which you have asked, Baha'is believe that the Baha'i Dispensation is the dispensation of the fulfillment of Holy Prophecy, including and especially such prophecies as that of His Holiness the Christ, Who spoke of God's Kingdom which would come to Earth so that God's Will will become accomplished "on Earth as it is in Heaven". The dispensation of the Lord christ was not a Dispensation of fulfillment, but rather a prophetic Dispensation. The Baha'i Faith is a Dispensation of fulfillment of Holy Prophecy.
The Founder of the Baha'i Faith wrote: "The Earth is but one country, and mankind its citizens."
Baha'is believe that the 2300 prophetic "days" of the Bible Book Daniel ended in 1844, and the great Millerite Movement of the Midnight Cry, during the early 1840's accurately foretold the return of the Lord Christ. Their understanding of the meaning of some words in the Christian Greek Scriptures caused them to have flaws in their understanding of the manner by which the Lord would return. The Greek word "astrape" found at Matthew 24 verse 27 is one example. It is Strong's Greek word 796 and Strong offers the alternate meanings "glare" and "bright shining" which more accurately describe the "bright morning star", the sun, which "emerges" from the East" and "shines to the West". Lightning doesn't "emerge" from the "East" necessarily. It is local, and often between clouds in various directions, and often from the ground to clouds. His Holiness the Christ identified Himself to be "the bright morning star" in Revelation chapter 22. He is not literally the sun, of course, and therefore it is a metaphor, and has spiritual significance. Thus He is speaking metaphorically as recorded in Matthew chapter 24, verses 27 and 28.
