Hi,

I will be travelling with my husband and 1 year old baby to the Bahamas for the first time in June.  We'll be staying in Paradise Island and wanted to know whether you think we should consider getting a rental car for the 7 days that we'll be on the island?  Since our child is so young, we weren't sure how difficult it would be to get around the island with public transportation or if it would be easier to just rent a car for the duration of our stay.  Thanks.

Hi,  I am not sure about renting a car or not. We were on a private sailboat and wrnt from island to island. It probably wouldn't be a bad idea to get a car though. I don't know how big that island is but the ones in the out islands you could walk from side to side. Sorry I couldn't be of more help to you.
