Hi Nita,
Before I book a trip for the family to the Bahamas for Christmas week i was wondering if the water temp might be a bit cold and if there is an island destination a little further south that you could suggest instead?

Hi, I don't know what the temp would be over Christmas, but when we go it is usually around 80. I think it would normally be around that anyway being in the tropics. you could probably check online somewhere for the temps during that month also. Sorry couldn't have been more help

  We usually go around the middle of June. One of our favorite islands is HopeTown,it has a lighthouse on it, cottages that you can rent, I dont think they are very expensive either. One side of the island is the harbour and the other is the beach. This is in the Abacos. If you have anymore questions feel free to email me again.
