Question Me and my Fiance are planning to get married in the Bahamas around mid August. We want a beautiful beach wedding and will have between ten and fifteen guest. We are looking for someplace inexpensive, but beautiful. We also need somewhere that is children friendly. Can you recommend somewhere for us to stay and get married while we are there? And do you think this will be a good time to travel to the Bahamas?
Answer There are many places in The Bahamas to get married that are beautiful and inexpensive. There is one place that I believe goes above and beyond in the personel attention department though. I would contact the Peace and Plenty in Exuma and ask them about having your wedding on Stocking Island which is a private barrier island that forms Elizabeth harbor. Mid August can be one of the best months weather wise in The Bahamas but also one of the worst, it just depends. It is usually hot and the water can be as flat as glass in the Summer.
