Question
Hi Nita,
Like you, our family has been to Ambergris, and have loved it, except for one thing.  We've stayed at both Capt. Morgan's (loved the beachside cabana's!!) and Ramon's Village, and the reef caused there to be lots of sea grass in the water, making it so that you couldn't swim directly from the beach.  Can you tell me if it is like that in Hope Town, Elbow Cay, specifically the beach at Hope Town Harbour Hote?  I'm traveling with two 24 year old girls, and we really need to have that beach acess.

Thanks so much, Denise

Answer
Denise,
Cool, I haven't heard from anyone else who has been to Belize yet! Okay, in hopetown we walked across the island (it isn't very wide) and the ocean is on the other side which is gorgeous!! A good place to go to also if you can rent a boat or ask someone how to get there because we had a sailboat chartered and just went everywhere....is go to Tahiti beach and another is Guano Caye where Nippers bar is but the beach there is the most spectacular one to see. Both are really something. Tahiti beach the water is so clear you can see starfish and urchins just sitting on the ocean floor. Hope this helps some, let me know which you are going to go to.
Nita
