Expert: Chiap Date: 12/15/2005 Subject: Would like an all-inclusive place to stay in the Bahamas
Question My wife and I are looking to book a weekend get away (4 days/3 nights) in the Bahamas February 2006.
We have read a ton of reviews on many hotels and am hoping to get a straight answer on where to stay.
Our goal is to find a nice, clean place (clean rooms, especially bath rooms, are a must) to simply relax and unwind.
Don't need a lot of entertainment, but wouldn't mind finding out some different things to do.
Looking to go All-inclusive simply so we don't have to worry about eating/drinking for the few days we are there.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
Craig
Answer Craig:
Sorry for the delay, it is the holiday season.
All of the large hotels have packages, so pick the one that fits your price range. However, the Breezes out on Cable Beach has many good reviews for food and no cares. I here it is clean and many people I know go there often for the ease of it.
If you really want to totally relax, check out The Cove on North Eleuthera. Total peace and easy to get to, even from Florida. Bring a book.
If you want to venture a little further south, try Stella Maris on Long Island. Again, bring your good book.
If taking a nude walk on the eight mile beach is your thing, try Greenwood Inn on Cat Island. Take a book to leave there.
Go to www.wheretostay.com to see more on each of these.
Ciao,
