Question
Hi my name is Dona. I'm 16 years old and have been dancing for about four years. My goal is not to be a professional but i would definetly like to better myself while i'm doing this because i enjoy it very much. So my question is how do i get higher of my heels with absolutely not arches?

Answer
Hi Dona. There's a wonderful book I recommend that discusses every aspect of strengthening and stretching feet. You can find it at http://www.linkbrander.com/go/54727

I also talk about the care of feet a lot in my blog entries and articles at http://www.theballetstore.com

Care of the feet involves stretching and relaxing more than the foot muscles, too long to go through here.

Check the material I recommend above, and feel free to ask any more questions. And be very gentle when you stretch!

All the best, Dianne

Hi again Dona. It came to my attention that the link I gave you above, http://www.linkbrander.com/go/54727 was not working for a few days. It is fixed now, and I apologize for any inconvenience.
