Question
Hi i am a senior and i have been dancing for about 5 years, i have learned a lot, but i don't have money to go and take classes outside of school. I want to improve in dance to start teaching, i first off wanted to know if there are any things that i can do at home, to strenghten my legs and work on my flexibility and improve the arches on my feet. Also if you know any ways of getting a teaching job for dance? Thank you so much.

Answer
Normal exercises you would do in a gym can strengthen your legs.  To work on your flexibility splits are always a good idea, as is other stretching like hamstring, quadricep, and hip stretches.  You can look these up online if you don't know any.  Doing sets of releves will help to strengthen your feet.  You can also do ankle circles or point and flexes.

To get a job teaching dance I would recommend a teacher's course.  If you are going to college taking dance classes there will also help you get a job teaching.  After that, just apply everywhere you can.
Good luck. =]

Expertise

I can answer lots about ballet, specifically the Vaganova syllabus. I'm still training, but both my parents were professional dancers, so most answers will be coming from them, not me. :) They're the experts. Obviously, questions about difficult technique, etc, would be better answered with someone else, but if you're just becoming interested in dancing, or are having problems with basic steps, like pirouettes or plies, then I may be able to help

Experience

I've seen ballet since the age of 0, because of my parents, and I am training to become a professional dancer now.
