Ballet/too old?

Question
So i took private ballet lessons for a few years when i was younger probably 11 to 14, and I loved it,I had to stop because my teacher wanted to start a family and no matter how many times i asked my parents if i could continue dancing and nothing was ever done. I'm now 19 and would love to be able to dance again. When I was younger I always wanted to be a dance/music teacher. Well the music part is accomplished but am I to old to start dancing again and one day teach??

Answer
You can definitely dance again!  Many places offer adult classes, and colleges often have beginning dance classes.  It will take a lot of experience to one day teach, but it's definitely an attainable goal.  Look for a teacher's course.  I know of a few that are offered on the Vagonova ballet syllabus.
Good luck!

Expertise

I can answer lots about ballet, specifically the Vaganova syllabus. I'm still training, but both my parents were professional dancers, so most answers will be coming from them, not me. :) They're the experts. Obviously, questions about difficult technique, etc, would be better answered with someone else, but if you're just becoming interested in dancing, or are having problems with basic steps, like pirouettes or plies, then I may be able to help

Experience

I've seen ballet since the age of 0, because of my parents, and I am training to become a professional dancer now.
