Question
ok i have two questions. First I'm 5'1" and i took a break from ballet for a while and put on a lot of weight. What should someone my height weigh and how do I go about losing the weight so I can feel comfortable in my dance clothes again? Also what would you say is the oldest they will take dancers in professional ballet companies?

Answer
Hello. I can't give you an exact answer because I don't know what your body type is  - however, if you diet safely you'll know when you've reached the right weight.

I have written several articles on safe dieting which are on http://www.theballetstore.com You need to lose the fat and keep your muscle, right? Please read my info and feel free to ask if you have any other questions.

Dance companies will take a good dancer that suits the company - what the oldest might be depends. Are you worried about being too old?

Let me know if I can help you further. All the best, Dianne
