Question
what other types of ballet are there? ive forgotten them i know theres the italian version Chikette(dont know how its spelt)and RAD (royal academy) thats englidh but what are the others and where are they from? thnx

Hi Dazie. The above link is to a short article that outlines Cecchetti, Vaganova and R.A.D. teaching systems.

The article states that Cecchetti is the foundation of The National Ballet School of Canada's teaching system. That is only partly true, as their system has been influenced by teachers from all over the world. The same is true for the Royal Winnipeg School of Ballet - most professional ballet schools do their best to hire guest teachers of world renown on a yearly basis, to keep their teaching systems inspired and growing.
