Question
QUESTION: I have a question what road do i need to go to if i want to become a ballet dancer or modern dancer I also want to know if it is to late for me how long will my body get use to it.

ANSWER: Hi Jamal. I do not know if you can become a professional dancer starting at 27 - I recommend you go to the best studio in your area and and do three classes a week if that is possible.

I also recommend that you do some cross training such as Pilates, to build strength faster.

But not all at once. Maybe 2 ballet classes per week and a Pilates routine, to start. Add more as you can, without getting exhausted or too sore.

Go to http://www.theballetstore.com and read the free articles about building strength and stretching. There is lots of info there that is a good guide.

So read all this stuff and get started - see where you are at in six months.....

Please feel free to ask me anything further!

All the best, Dianne

QUESTION:  I HAVE ANOTHER QUESTION I DIDN'T MEAN TO SAY PROFESSIONAL DANCER. I WANT TO BE A GOOD MODERN DANCER AND BALLET DANCER I KNOW THIS LADY THAT TEACHES ADULTD WOULD THAT BE A GOOD ROUTE SHE DOESN'T HAVE ANY REGISTRATION FEES BUT SHE HAS HER OWN STUDIO AND SHE DO BEGINNERS CLASSES.

Answer
Hi Jamal. Then I would start there and see how it goes after a few months. All you can do is start. At some point if you wanted to, you could look at other classes and see how they compare.

And you have all the references I mentioned above.

Enjoy your dancing!

All the best, Dianne
