Question
hi i have been dancing since i was 4 i have been doing ballet for the longest but it is not my best i really love tap and jazz and just started hip hop i want to make a living out of dance but not sure what to do can you help

Answer
I unfortunately don't know what it takes to be a professional in tap and jazz, but for ballet you must find a professional school.  Recital schools are NOT preprofessional training.  You need to find a serious school that is geared towards kids who want to make a living out of dance.  Do some research, make sure the teachers have good credentials, and work hard!  Good luck! =]

Expertise

I can answer lots about ballet, specifically the Vaganova syllabus. I'm still training, but both my parents were professional dancers, so most answers will be coming from them, not me. :) They're the experts. Obviously, questions about difficult technique, etc, would be better answered with someone else, but if you're just becoming interested in dancing, or are having problems with basic steps, like pirouettes or plies, then I may be able to help

Experience

I've seen ballet since the age of 0, because of my parents, and I am training to become a professional dancer now.
