Ballet - could i get into it again?
Expert: Dianne M. Buxton - 11/5/2009
Question i did ballet from age 5 to age 11..but since i moved so much i stopped after that, I'm 15 now and i reallyyy want to dance again. I've gotten so many medals in the past and i was so good at it and i loved it! i never started point but i want to be able to! is it to late for me to get back in and actually be as good as i was before?
Answer Hi Gaby. It's not too late to dance ballet again. Get the best teacher that you can, and while it may take some time to get into shape, you will in time.
I recommend The Perfect Pointe Book for getting back all those muscles, the foot muscles and postural/turnout muscles too.

All the best, Dianne
