Ballet/Dance team

Question
Hi,
I really want to tryout for my high school dance team this year. I tried out last year and didn't make it.I do ballet, jazz, and tap. Do you know of anything I can do to get in shape for dance team? and do you think should I practice all the dance steps I know in order to prepare for the clinics? If you could answer these questions that'd be great!

Thanks in advance :)

Answer
Hi Sydney. I'm no expert on dance teams. But yes, I think you should practice all the dance steps you can do. If you have been watching the team, practice a routine that is very similar to one of the team's routines to show at the audition.

All the best with this! Dianne
