I wanted to know what type of ballet the Swansong is by Christopher Bruce. Thankyou for your time. Sarah
I'd never heard of this ballet before, thank you for letting me know about it! It looks like a piece that I would like to see live.
The type of dance is definitely contemporary ballet, and it is also a very political themed ballet about prisoners and interrogation methods.

I can answer lots about ballet, specifically the Vaganova syllabus. I'm still training, but both my parents were professional dancers, so most answers will be coming from them, not me. :) They're the experts.
