Question
Hi, I'm 11 years old and thinking about taking up ballet i have danced before but i have never done ballet how long does it take to get the technique down packed

Answer
Hi Ellie. Everyone would learn ballet at their individual pace. Their physique and ability to concentrate would determine how quickly they progress.

If you want to read about the details of ballet technique to get a better idea of what you are considering, there are many articles at:
http://www.theballetstore.com The site is a store, but there is a large article section and blog area with even more information about learning ballet correctly.

There is also a glossary at that site where you can learn the French words for ballet.

Whatever you decide, all the best to you!
