Question
Hi, I have already asked a question on here and I left out one thing, Im 13 and Im turning 14 in nov. Im not that flexible, but I am working on it what would I need to do to get more flexible to join ballet? thank you for your time!

Answer
The best way to gain flexibility for ballet is to take ballet class.  However, you can work on your flexibility by doing some gentle stretches.  If you've ever stretched to warm up for a sports practice or a gym class those stretches are good ones.  Hamstrings, calves, hips, and feet are important for a dancer to stretch.  Also, it's better to stretch when you're warm, so stretch after a brief walk or jog.  This way you won't injure yourself.  You could look into yoga classes as well; they would help with flexibility.
Good luck!

Expertise

I can answer lots about ballet, specifically the Vaganova syllabus. I'm still training, but both my parents were professional dancers, so most answers will be coming from them, not me. :) They're the experts. Obviously, questions about difficult technique, etc, would be better answered with someone else, but if you're just becoming interested in dancing, or are having problems with basic steps, like pirouettes or plies, then I may be able to help

Experience

I've seen ballet since the age of 0, because of my parents, and I am training to become a professional dancer now.
