Question
I am just starting ballet, and I just turned 14. Ballet and all sorts of dancing comes very naturally to me. I can already do 3 pirouettes. I am tall, long legged and fit, and my ankles are very strong for a beginner. Next year, I am scheduled to be taking 4 one hour classes a week. I already stretch everyday,exercise, and do ankle strengthening.I have a big dream. Will I be able to become a professional balleria? I am ready to do whatever it takes to achieve this goal. Will I be able to do it?

Answer
Good Mornin Ayr,

Thanks a lot for your question ;

One thing is very important to keep in mind, you must take pleasure performing, not only targetting "becoming pro", but thinking about enjoyment.

Next, at 14 years old, yes you can still become a professional ballerina, but, and this is what you do, you must be very motivated and not afraid of working hard.

Enjoy your dancing,

Regards,

Olivier
