Ballet/Classes! Less or more?

Question
Hello! I came back to ask you about classes. I was supposed to take just one class of ballet, but then my teacher recommended I take the next class right after the first one, to catch up since it has been two years since I've taken classes. Now I am officially taking two classes! The thing is, I was hoping to take more classes, so I can become a professional when I become an adult, but I have a busy schedule at the moment, and I worry that I'll get too stressed out and that I'll waste my parent's money.
I'm thinking about when I start high school to be less busy with other things and ask my parents for more classes on ballet (we're not rich, but we have many privileges, sort of upper middle class). Is this a good move? Thanks if you could answer!

Answer
Hi Rocio. To become professional in ballet you need to take more classes now, not in high school. Also you need to take classes from professional ballet trainers, I hope I made that clear.

Just keep in mind that ballet students your age who are training to be professional are taking a ballet class every day, along with extra classes such as pointe class, and perhaps a modern dance class.

If there is a way you can lighten your schedule now in favor taking more ballet, that would be better.

I hope this helps....Dianne
