Question
I am fifteen years old I always had a passion for dancing but my parents were not able to pay for ballet lessons. I've been thinking about working and paying for ballet lessons my self. Do you think its too late for me to start ballet?

Answer
Good evening Aleeza, and Happy New Year !!

First, you seem more than motivated to take ballet lessons. Accepting to work to pay your lessons means you really want to take it !!

And beeing motivated is the key to success, in every thing of life, and in Ballet also.

So yes, if you can afford working to pay your lessons, why not.

But . . . Always remember that working is hard, will make you tired and may possibly have a negative impact on your life, your school and your body.

You should NEVER - let me insist N E V E R - get so tired by working to pay something that you will break your body !!

One last thing ;

I am not from the United States of America but, here in Europe, we have very cheap ballet school, where people will just pay a small amount per month, this amount beeing based on their wages. Most of the time, those schools are government ran. Doesn't this also exist there ? If you need help, I can search the Internet, just ask.

'later,
