Question
i am 20 years old and i want to star taking ballet classes i just afraid i am unable to maintain the required physical strength  i have been making cycling for about 10 months 4 days a week for 50 minutes but i am not sure if have the resistence and flexibility necesary ballet is a demanding sport do you think i need more time and exercise to be able to take ballet clases

Answer
Hi Erika. If you were to take ballet 4 days a week, you would build the strength necessary to do it. Flexibility improves as well, and if you are not flexible you would learn the appropriate stretches and add stretching to your daily practice.

If you would like to read more about ballet and stretching, there are many articles at http:/www.balletshoesandpointeshoes.blogspot.com/

A list down on the left sidebar shows titles of the posts in different categories (pointe, turnout, etc.,) where you can get a little familiar with the demands of ballet.

All the best, Dianne.
