Question
Hi my name's Christi and i haven't been doing for ages but i have a problem with the balance how does it work in know it goes side to side and i thought you went down up up to the side but in the videos ive watched they go down up then spring to the other side  i hope this isn't to confusing i wasn't sure how explain it.

Answer
Hi Christi. Yes, you go 'down, up, down' and rise on the "AND" count in the music so you can go "down' on the other side.

So if you're counting a waltz, a 3/4 , you go "AND" down on 1,up on 2, down on 3, then up on "AND" and down on 1 on the other side.

I hope this clears the timing up for you.

All the best, Dianne
