Question
I'm a 12 year old girl. I've been doing ballet for 8 years. I started point this year and I love it!! A lot of people tell me I am good. Is Ballet a good career option for me? Does Ballet earn enough money to take care of bills and stuff? Or should I Find something else I love and I am serious about?

Answer
It sounds like ballet is a career option for you!  Being an artist is a hard life.  You are not guaranteed to always have a job, which may make it difficult to pay your rent and might leave little room for luxuries.  However, you will be doing something you love every single day.  Regardless, you are pretty young to make a decision about your career path already.  If you love to dance, pursue it!  You have time before you must decide what job to take.
Also, make sure you are getting the best training possible.  Research schools in your area and study at a serious school, at least five times a week.  Feel free to ask me any more questions!  I'm glad to hear you like ballet so much. =]

Expertise

I can answer lots about ballet, specifically the Vaganova syllabus. I'm still training, but both my parents were professional dancers, so most answers will be coming from them, not me. :) They're the experts. Obviously, questions about difficult technique, etc, would be better answered with someone else, but if you're just becoming interested in dancing, or are having problems with basic steps, like pirouettes or plies, then I may be able to help

Experience

I've seen ballet since the age of 0, because of my parents, and I am training to become a professional dancer now.
