Question
Hi, i would like to know how many types of toe pads are there and which would b suitable for me. i feel that my current is a  bit tight for the shoe as it squeezes all my toes together. wud u recommend thinner ones? also, i always get blisters on the "knuckle" bone of the fourth toe. how do i prevent that? i wear a Gaynor pointe shoe. & i have a bunion, in case that affects the usage of a toe pad too. thank you.

Answer
Hello Nicole,

I can not tell how many different types of toe pads there are, sorry.

What I know is that the type & size of toe pads you must use is ... the one you feel comfortable with !!

Go to your local ballet store and ask the seller to try some. If she does not accept, try to ask at your ballet school to other dancers to see what they use and if you can give them a try.

Cheers,
