Answer
Hi Francesca,

There is a book called "Tune Up Your Turnout" by Deborah Vogel, a dance medicine specialist.

You can get it through this site:

http://squidoo.com/increaseballetturnout/

It explains everything about turnout, and how to strengthen it. You will also see some information on Deborah's site about improving extension. She is one of the best experts!

I have also put links to those books on my blog:

http://www.balletshoesandpointeshoes.blogspot.com/

and you will also find many articles there about turnout and extension as well.

All the best, Dianne.
